Meet Derek

Derek is originally from Michigan “Go Blue” and attended Arizona State University & Wayne State University with a focus on Interior Architecture. He began designing office buildings, restaurants, and bars until he got the property flip bug. He spent 10 years renovating homes and flipping them.

In 2015, Derek headed south to Austin to continue flipping homes for 5 years until he felt it was time for a change. He started with Group Three Builders in 2020 as a field manager and never looked back. 

Derek and his wife have three children and enjoy being in Austin and close to Houston where his wife grew up.
