Group Three Builders was founded by three uniquely talented individuals centered around the mission to build exceptional new homes crafted for joy and designed for a lifetime. Our story as Group Three Builders begins in 2016, with our founding partners, Eric Robinson, Seth Robinson, and Lee Haislip, combining our 80+ years of Central Texas home building experience, each bringing a depth of knowledge in varying disciplines and deep passion for providing a highly personalized home building experience. Knowledge, creativity, and communication are at the core of all we do and what guides us as custom home builders in Central Texas to deliver on our promise of creating a uniquely designed forever home for your family.

OUR FOUNDERS
Eric Robinson, Partner
With over 40 years of homebuilding experience, Eric’s journey in the industry has been remarkable. He began his career constructing homes from the ground up, quickly ascending into key leadership roles that span three decades, including serving as the VP of Construction and Division President for prominent national builders. At Group Three, Eric has circled back to his homebuilding roots, embracing what he finds the most rewarding aspect of the craft – overseeing all our field operations. His daily presence on our job sites allows him to engage with customers and ensure that their homes meet our rigorous standards. Outside of work, Eric cherishes moments spent with his grandchildren.
Lee Haislip, Partner
Lee brings a wealth of expertise with nearly 25 years of construction experience. His passion for building was ignited at an early age, watching his grandfather craft homes using the ‘old-fashioned’ approach, meaning he completed most construction phases himself. He began his homebuilding journey in Central Texas with one of the largest national builders – starting out as a builder, and then moved in to managing purchasing, estimating, architecture and design. As a founder of Group Three Builders, Lee’s primary role is managing the preliminary and behind-the-scenes aspects of the homebuilding process. He offers invaluable assistance throughout the journey, guiding home buyers through architectural decisions, selections, planning, and budgeting. A proud Aggie, Lee also values time spent with his wife, Julie and their two children.
Seth Robinson, Partner
With over two decades of experience in the homebuilding industry, Seth’s journey has been deeply rooted in construction. He has a unique background, having grown up in the construction sector and started his career by wiring homes throughout Central Texas. Seth’s role in Group Three Builders is primarily focused on shaping the company’s business strategy, where he combines his passion for architectural and design aspects of the construction process. Beyond his role at Group Three Builders, Seth is a master electrician and the owner of a substantial electrical contracting company based in Central Texas. When he’s not immersed in his professional pursuits, Seth enjoys quality time with his wife, Taryn, and their three children. Whether he’s coaching little league or hitting the golf course, he finds fulfillment in both family and recreational activities.
